International Symposium on Fire Investigation Science & Technology

The Conference

ISFI 2010 will bring together a cadre of internationally known and respected fire investigation professionals to present and discuss the cutting edge of the profession's knowledge base in fire investigation science, research, technology, and methodology. Over 150 delegates, presenters and exhibiters from eight countries attended ISFI 2008. With the great success of ISFI 2008 and enthusiastic post-symposium reviews, attendance is expected to significantly increase for ISFI 2010.

Each day of the Symposium will offer plenary session presentations in the mornings and afternoon breakout presentation lectures. Included in the delegate registration there will be daily continental breakfasts, daily buffet luncheons, and refreshment breaks throughout the day. The Symposium language is English.

The popular ISFI social gatherings are also returning, including the Sunday night Pre-Symposium Informal Gathering, the Monday evening Cocktail Reception, and the Tuesday evening Gala "Black Tie" cocktail hour and dinner.

The Venue

Special room rates of $139.00 per night and free parking for attendees have been arranged with the University of Maryland's University College Inn and Conference Center. The deadline for room reservations at these reduced rates is September 5, 2010. Reservations should be made directly with the hotel.
