The Conference

ISFI 2012 will bring together a cadre of internationally known and respected fire investigation professionals to present and discuss the cutting edge of the profession's knowledge base in fire investigation science, research, technology, and methodology. Over 150 delegates, presenters and exhibitors from eight countries attended ISFI 2010. With the great success of ISFI 2010 and enthusiastic post-symposium reviews, attendance is expected to significantly increase for ISFI 2012.

Each day of the Symposium will offer plenary session presentations in the mornings and afternoon breakout presentation lectures. Included in the delegate registration there will be daily continental breakfasts, daily buffet luncheons, and refreshment breaks throughout the day. The Symposium language is English.

The popular ISFI social gatherings are also returning, including the Sunday night Pre-Symposium Informal Gathering, the Monday evening Cocktail Reception, and the Tuesday evening Gala "Black Tie" cocktail hour and dinner.

ISFI 2012 Venue Selected

The Conference

ISFI2012 lectures, breakouts, meals and social events will be hosted by the University of Maryland - Stamp Student Center.

Lodging

Delegate lodging will be available through Marriott Inn and Conference Center. The Marriott will provide a complimentary shuttle to the Stamp Student Center for all delegates. On campus parking is available for any delegates commuting to ISFI 2012.

We are now accepting abstracts ISFI 2012 for authors wishing to present papers at ISFI 2012. Accepted papers will be published in the Official ISFI 2012 Proceedings.
