ISFI 2010 - University of Maryland - University College Sept. 27 - 29, 2010

ISFI 2010 brings together a cadre of internationally known and respected fire investigation professionals to present and discuss the cutting edge of the profession's knowledge base in fire investigation science, research, technology, and methodology. Over 175 delegates, presenters and exhibitors from eight countries attended ISFI 2008. With the great success of ISFI 2008 and enthusiastic post-symposium reviews, attendance is expected to significantly increase for ISFI 2010.

The ISFI 2010 call for papers has been the most successful in the history of the International Symposium on Fire Investigation Science and Technology!

We have accepted over 50 abstracts to be published in the Proceedings and presented in our educational sessions. More Information on ISFI 2010

ISFI 2010 is the 4th presentation of this biennial professional symposium. ISFI emphasizes the application of modern fire science and technology to fire investigations and analyses. This international gathering of fire investigation and fire science experts is organized by the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI).

Each day of the Symposium will offer plenary session presentations in the mornings and afternoon breakout sessions. Included in the delegate registration are daily continental breakfasts, daily buffet luncheons, and refreshment breaks throughout the day. The Symposium language is English.

The popular ISFI social gatherings are also returning, including the Sunday night Pre-Symposium Informal Gathering, the Monday evening Cocktail Reception, and the Tuesday evening Gala "Black Tie" cocktail hour and dinner.
